“The Aries” is a striking fusion of animal and machine, where organic strength meets mechanical relics. Built from authentic ram’s horns, weathered metal components, and the body of a vintage typewriter, this sculpture brings to life a hybrid face — both powerful and enigmatic.
The natural horns frame a head crafted from aged industrial plates, with mechanical reels set as steely eyes. An old optical lens, positioned centrally, evokes either a nose or a mystical third eye, hinting at unseen visions. Beneath, three typewriter keys, resembling teeth, add a touch of discreet humor.
“The Aries” explores the idea of transformation: how abandoned elements — both animal and mechanical — can be reassembled into entirely new beings, standing at the crossroads of nature, artifice, and myth.
